About David

David Hole is a Certified Turnaround Practitioner with over 35 years of experience helping UK SMEs and charities through business turnaround, restructuring, and crisis recovery. David works closely with business owners to restore value, unlock cash flow, and guide organisations through complex transitions.

David’s expertise includes viability reviews, turnaround planning, financial restructuring, and advising on M&A transactions. His work spans sectors, with notable success in both private enterprises and not-for-profit organisations. One standout project involved saving a multi-generational tenant farm from collapse by restructuring the business, securing new tenancy terms, and restoring financial stability.

David has worked in Big Four, top ten, and boutique firms, and has led his own advisory practice for over 20 years. He holds an MBA (Manchester), MSc from Bayes Business School, and is a Fellow of the EACTP, IPA, and ABRP, as well as a DChA (ICAEW). David also serves as a Non-Executive Chair in education and mentors a charitable foundation. Outside of work, David enjoys cycling, travelling, and time with his four children.
