About Chris
Chris is a corporate financier with over 20 years of experience in business
sales, MBOs, acquisitions and fundraising (debt and equity) transactions.
Chris was previously a partner for 11 years at Ballard Evans Corporate
Finance, a leading independent regional corporate finance boutique.
Chris has worked on deals ranging from £1m to over £50m across a wide
range of industries. Chris offers his clients a hands-on, partner-led service,
driving transactions to deliver exceptional results. He has also worked with
clients in a growth advisory role, assisting entrepreneurs and management
teams with their strategic and exit planning.
Chris graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in
Economics, before joining Lathams (now RSM) where he qualified as a
Chartered Accountant. Chris then joined Ballard Campbell in 2003, before
co-founding Ballard Evans Corporate Finance in 2009. Chris then set up a
strategic advisory consultancy, CE Strategic. He has recently completed
the University of Leeds Business School’s Exceptional NED programme.
Outside of work, when Chris is not spending time with his family, he enjoys
cycling and is an enthusiastic follower of horse racing.
