About Amy
Amy Hacker is a commercially focused corporate finance advisor with over 15 years of M&A experience across both advisory and in-house roles. Her background includes leading and supporting a wide range of transactions — including acquisitions, disposals, carve-outs, minority investments, and IPOs — with deal values ranging from £1 million to over £1 billion.
Amy has worked with privately owned businesses, PLCs, and private equity-backed companies, with a particular focus on the Industrials and Business Services sectors. Clients value her hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and ability to deliver outcomes efficiently while providing full support throughout the process.
She began her career at PwC before moving into M&A at Rothschild & Co, where she advised on mid-market and large-cap transactions. Amy then held senior roles at JLA, including Chief Strategy Officer, before founding her own consultancy, AEH Advisory, in 2022.
Amy holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Economics from Newcastle University and is ACA qualified (ICAEW). She is also a Trustee of Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys time with family and friends, dog walks, good food and wine, cycling, and following Formula 1.
