IR acquires United Air Power

United Air Power Acquired By Global Industrial Leader Ingersoll Rand

United Air Power (UAP), a Chester-headquartered specialist in compressed air
systems and energy-efficient engineering solutions, has been acquired by
Ingersoll Rand, the New York Stock Exchange-listed global industrial group.

Founded in 1999, UAP operates from additional sites in Tameside, Greater
Manchester, and Bradford, West Yorkshire. The business designs, installs, and
maintains compressed air systems that are critical to industrial operations,
serving customers across the food and drink, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, glass,
and building materials sectors. With a team of 30 employees, UAP reported
revenues of £7.35 million in 2024.

The acquisition represents a strategic expansion for Ingersoll Rand in the
UK compressed air market, enhancing its presence and service capabilities
across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India (EMEAI).

Corporate finance advice to UAP’s founder and majority shareholder Dave
Seenan and his management team was provided by Logros Advisory Partners. The
transaction was led and delivered by Chris Evans and Brian Higgins of Logros.
Legal advice to the shareholders was provided by Laura McMorland and Nathan
Hughes of Bermans, while Stephen Bryce and John McCaffery of Alexander & Co
advised on tax matters. Ingersoll Rand was advised by Reynolds Porter
Chamberlain.

Chris Evans of Logros Advisory Partners commented:

“United Air Power has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality
compressed air systems and energy-saving solutions to a wide range of
industrial customers. The acquisition marks a significant step for Ingersoll
Rand in strengthening its offering and reach in the UK market. We’re proud to
have advised Dave and the team on this successful outcome. UAP’s strong service
model and loyal client base made it a compelling strategic fit.”

Reflecting on the transaction, Dave Seenan said:

“This is a proud moment in the journey of United Air Power. Becoming part of
Ingersoll Rand creates exciting opportunities for our customers and our team.
I’d like to thank Logros Advisory Partners, especially Chris Evans, for their
invaluable support throughout the process, and also Laura and Nathan from
Bermans for their trusted legal guidance.”

Laura McMorland added:

“We are delighted to have supported Dave and the team on the sale. This is the
second successful deal we’ve completed in the compressed air and gas
engineering space alongside Chris Evans. These types of businesses play a
critical role in industrial infrastructure, and their strong recurring revenue
and technical importance make them highly attractive to strategic acquirers
like Ingersoll Rand.”

Following completion of the deal, United Air Power becomes part of Ingersoll
Rand’s Compressor Systems and Services division for the EMEAI region,
reinforcing its position as a global leader in mission-critical industrial flow
solutions.
